This year was possible because of the foundation of a phenomenal pilot year! We established an effective and mutually beneficial partnership with East Nashville Cooperative Ministry, successfully educating 80+ young people from under-resourced neighborhoods in Nashville through Catholic Charities Refugee Youth Program and the Bridge Program of YMCA of Middle TN. The most meaningful moment during those hot and humid days of education in the garden came when all 12 seventh graders made–and willingly tasted–their first-ever garden-grown red chard taco!
